Application Menu - Qualia Docs

The application menu groups Qualia’s commands — file operations, editing, view toggles, notebook run actions, and more — in one place, alongside their keyboard shortcuts.

Where to find it

macOS: commands appear in the system menu bar at the top of the screen.
Windows: the application menu occupies a row at the top of the window.
In the browser (including Qualia Cloud): the same command menus appear in a row at the top of the app.

Desktop builds also include operating-system actions such as window controls, zoom, and developer tools where applicable.

What’s inside

Menu	Contains
File	New file, open folder or remote, save, close tabs, settings
Edit	Undo/redo, find and replace, workspace search, comment toggles
Selection	Line moves and copies, multi-cursor actions
View	Sidebar, chat, and terminal panels; line wrapping and numbers
Go	Go back/forward after code-navigation jumps, go to line, switch tabs
Run	Run notebook cells, interrupt or restart the kernel
Help	Keyboard shortcuts, documentation, report an issue, and About Qualia

Menu items are dimmed when they don’t apply to what you’re doing — for example, Run All Cells is only available while a notebook is open. Most commands are also available from the keyboard shortcuts dialog: press Cmd/Ctrl+P to browse and run them by name.
