Settings let you customize Qualia to match your workflow. Open Settings by pressing Cmd/Ctrl+,. Settings open in a dialog over the workspace; press Esc or click outside it to close. Use the search box at the top of Settings to find specific options. Search matches setting names, descriptions, and keywords.

Saving changes

Most settings save automatically. If a form has a Save button, use it to apply the changes.

Settings scope

Settings are global — they apply to all workspaces. For workspace-specific behavior, use:
  • Rules with workspace files (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md)
  • Skills stored in your workspace
  • Per-session overrides in the chat interface
