Choose your overall appearance mode:

Editor theme

Select the syntax highlighting theme for code cells:
  • Separate themes for light and dark modes
  • Themes affect code highlighting, not the overall UI

UI theme

  • Controls sidebar, toolbar, and panel colors
  • Can be set to Same as Editor Theme to unify appearance

Custom themes

Create your own themes:
  1. Click Create Custom Theme

  3. Save with a name
  4. Select your custom theme in the picker
Custom themes are stored in settings and persist across sessions.
